    • Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Congo belge”): Katanga, Sankisia (J. Bequaert).
    • Type-depository: MHNG (perhaps also MRAC).
    • Subspecies of eugeniae: Forel, 1913h: 355; Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 966; Emery, 1925b: 105; Bolton, 1995b: 85.
